Having only been active in the industry for a few months, it seems that one of our competitors is resorting to what some may call "playing dirty"; click the following links to see what I mean:

It's not a huge area of concern for me, as it does more damage to the individuals/brand in question in the short and long term than it does to us. Furthermore, should this be pursued on a legal footing, it would most certainly work in our favour (trademark infringement under the common law of "passing off").

Call it naivety on our behalf for not registering all the different combinations – or call it immoral practice by the relevant individuals. I’ll leave you to judge for yourself.

My original blog was started in early 2007; its theme was primarily centred around politics and current affairs… it was at the peak of my political activism days, attempting to push forward views which were (and still are) little seen in mainstream media.

That was then…

“The Miah Project” as the blog was dubbed, has now been renamed NoteBoxx. Although some political elements still may remain, it’s going to be more on me :) in attempt, it will be an arbitrary store of random thoughts, ideas, encounters, life inside and outside of business and everything else in-between. I’ve deleted a whole host of previous posts to redress the balance. I also updated the layout to go with the new theme.
